Peter Dinklage has signed on to star in Legendary's upcoming remake of the 1980s cult classic "Toxic Avenger".
The Toxic Avenger is "created" when a man a pushed into a vat of toxic waste, becoming a mutant who must struggle with being an outcast and is now in a battle for his community to keep it free from greed and corruption, as well as keeping his community a safe and environmentally healthy place to live.
The original was released in 1984, with follow up films such as "The Toxic Avenger Part II", "The Toxic Avenger Part III: The Last Temptation of Toxie", and "Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV".
The remake will be directed by Macon Blair.
