"Star Wars'" Oscar Isaac has signed on to play Solid Snake in the upcoming film "Metal Gear Solid". The film will be an adaptation of the popular video game franchise.
The Metal Gear Solid game was released back in the 1990s and follows the story of soldier Solid Snake, who battles against the nuclear armageddon that machines called Metal Gears could bring about.
The film was written by Derek Connolly and will be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
There's no word on when the film will be released but it's said that given the circumstances with Covid-19 and Oscar Isaac's busy schedule, we may be waiting a bit.
