Good news, movie fans. CinemaCon will be back this year and all the major studios have committed to returning.
With the number of vaccinations given out across the United States, this seemed like a good time to get the ball rolling again. There will also be numerous safety protocols in place, including proof of vaccination or a negative coronavirus test within 48 of attendance.
Walt Disney Studios, Universal Pictures, Paramount, Warner Bros., and Sony Pictures Releasing will all be on hand to attend the annual events, which is run by the National Organization of Theater Owners (NATO). Also in attendance will be Focus Features, Lionsgate, Amazon acquisition MGM, and its distribution arm United Artists Releasing.
CinemaCon will take place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on August 23-26.
