Actor, writer, director Kenneth Branagh is known for his Shakespearian/Victorian era films so when he wrote and directed a movie based in the 1960's it felt like a bit of a departure from his normal fare. The semi-autobiographical, BELFAST, tells the story of a nine-year-old boy whose entire world suddenly turns upside down when his family moves to England because of the violence in Ireland.
Focus Features, in conjunction with FlickDirect, would like to offer some lucky winners one electronic admit-two pass to see an advance screening of BELFAST on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 7:30 pm at AMC Aventura before the film is released in theaters nationwide on November 12, 2021.

Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Kenneth Branagh (HENRY V) BELFAST is the humorous, tender, and intensely personal story of one boy's childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s in the city of Branagh's birth. BELFAST is a movie straight from Branagh's own experience. A nine-year-old boy must chart a path towards adulthood through a world that has suddenly turned upside down. His stable and loving community and everything he thought he understood about life is changed forever but joy, laughter, music, and the formative magic of the movies remain.
The contest ends November 7, 2021
