Amazon Halts Prime Video in Russia

Amazon has decided to suspend their Prime Video in Russia, due to the ongoing turmoil and attack on Ukraine.

In a statement, the company said, "As a reminder, unlike some other U.S. technology providers, Amazon and AWS have no data centers, infrastructure, or offices in Russia, and we have a long-standing policy of not doing business with the Russian government." They added that they have partnered with several organizations to help with "the immense humanitarian needs in the region."

The streamer has also decided that they will no longer accept any new Russia or Belarus-based customers for its Amazon Web Services or accept them as third-party sellers.
