Paramount Plus Reaches Nearly 40 Million Subscribers

Paramount Plus has announced that its subscriber count has made it to almost 40 million, with 6.8 million joining the first quarter alone. Pluto TV, the platform's free streamer, has also contributed to its uptick in revenue, increasing 82%. Revenue for both services combined is up 95%.

The company also stated that the amount of time people are watching shows has increased, as well. 

Last month, Paramount Plus released an exclusive live-action Halo TV show last month, as well as another season of "Star Trek: Picard". Other shows include "Star Trek: Discovery", "Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years", and "Rugrats", "iCarly" reboots, and the upcoming return of "Yo! MTV Raps".
