Celebrate This Memorial Day with The Stranger Things Pop-up Store

It has been six years since Netflix and the Duffer Brothers introduced science fiction/horror fans to "Elle" Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown; Godzilla vs. Kong), Mike (Finn Wolfhard; Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo; Les Misérables: The Broadway Musical), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin; Concrete Cowboy) and the rest of the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana.  From the first episode, the series and the actors became overnight sensations, and fans of the show would scoop up whatever merchandise they could find.

Seasons one and two aired in consecutive years in 2016 and 2017 and then there was a 2-year gap until season three premiered in 2019.  At that time it was announced that the creative team was already working on Season Four.  Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of Covid, production was halted for a number of months.  This Memorial Day weekend Season Four Volume 1 will finally air with Volume 2 following on July 1, 2022.

In conjunction with the release of the new episodes, Netflix has created Stranger Things pop-up stores in Chicago and Dallas.  These stores will allow fans to interact with one another, employees of Scoops Ahoy, get up close to a Demogorgon, visit Joyce's home, as well as offer the opportunity to purchase Stranger Things merchandise, some of which will be sold exclusively at the pop-up stores.

The Chicago and Dallas pop-up stores follow in the footsteps of the 2021 stores in New York City, New York, and Los Angeles, California which were open for a limited time only.   Fans will most likely prefer to get tickets for the events.  Tickets are complimentary but limited. While walk-ins are welcome, guaranteed entry is preferred and available by reserving tickets at https://strangerthings-store.com. Fans can also get additional details, see photos, and find out about special events at the store by following @Stranger.Things.Store on Instagram.

The Chicago store opened on May 20, 2022, with the Dallas store following suit a day later on May 21, 2022.  While the New York and California stores were open for approximately three months, there has been no word on how long these new pop-up stores will stay open or in what cities the Stranger Things pop-up stores will appear next.
