"Father of the Bride", the Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan led romantic comedy, has become HBO Max's biggest movie premiere ever.
The film dropped a mere four days ago and was also ranked in the top 10 most-watched films on HBO Max in Mexico.
"Father of the Bride" is a Latino take on the franchise, and focuses on the story of a couple who is on the verge of a divorce and ready to announce the news to their daughter, but she has some news herself - she is engaged.
The film was directed by Gaz Alazraki from a script by Matt Lopez. Aside from Garcia and Estefan, the cast includes Adria Arjona, Isabela Merced, Diego Boneta, and Chloe Fineman.
