Cameron Diaz has come out of retirement to star in the upcoming Netflix film "Back in Action", in which she will star alongside Jamie Foxx.
Diaz retired from action in 2018 and is admittedly "so excited" yet "anxious" about returning to work.
The action/comedy will be directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) from a script he co-wrote with Brendan O'Brien (Neighbors).
Foxx took to Twitter to talk about the project, saying, "@CameronDiaz and I are BACK IN ACTION - our new movie with @NetflixFilm. Production starting later this year!!"
"Back in Action" will be produced by Beau Bauman for Good One Productions along with Gordon for Exhibit A. Foxx, Datari Turner, O'Brien and Mark McNair will executive produce.
