"Thor: Love and Thunder" director Taika Waititi recently made an embarrassing mistake when talking to actress Natalie Portman. The director recently spoke to Rolling Stone magazine and brought up the gaffe.
While on set, Portman and Waititi casually started to speak about his upcoming projects.
"She said to me, 'What are you up to next?' I said, 'Oh, I'm trying to work on a Star Wars thing. Have you ever wanted to be in a Star Wars movie?'" to which she replied, "'I've been in a Star Wars movie."
After realizing his mistake, he joked, "…should we do another take?" He also added that Portman took the comment in stride.
"Thor: Love and Thunder" stars Portman and Chris Hemsworth, and premiers in theatres this Friday.
