Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland Dropped by Hulu and Adult Swim After Domestic Violence Charges

"Rick and Morty" co-creator Justin Roiland has been dropped by both Adult Swim and Hulu in the wake of his domestic violence charges.

Roiland was charged with one felony count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit. He pleaded not guilty. The incident allegedly took place on or around January 19th, 2020.

Hulu dropped Roiland from "Solar Opposites", an animated sci-fi comedy, and "Koala Man", an Australian American animated comedy. He is the producer of both Hulu shows, and  "Rick and Morty", through his company Justin Roiland's Solo Vanity Card Productions.

Roiland will again appear in court for another hearing on April 27.
