STUDIO GHIBLI FEST is back with its 2023 lineup, featuring Hayao Miyazaki's entire animated film collection with Studio Ghibli. GKIDS and Fathom Events are partnering to bring the full feature catalog back to U.S. cinemas nationwide. It's a year of celebrating animation master Hayao Miyazaki, including several anniversary titles such as the 35th Anniversary of My Neighbor Totoro, 15th Anniversary of Ponyo, and 10th Anniversary of The Wind Rises.
The festival begins by celebrating the 35th Anniversary of My Neighbor Totoro on March 25th, followed by the 15th Anniversary of Ponyo on May 7th. GKIDS, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, is proud to continue its partnership with Fathom Events and expand STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2023 to more screening dates than ever before to meet increased fan demand.
Additionally, the lineup includes the first-ever North American screenings of SPIRITED AWAY: Live On Stage, the acclaimed stage production of Hayao Miyazaki's Academy Award-winning masterpiece. The performances were filmed during the production's acclaimed run in Tokyo last year and will be screened on Sunday, April 23rd and Thursday, April 27th. Both performances are in Japanese with English subtitles.

Each of the ten animated features will be shown in both original Japanese and English dubbed versions and will include exclusive selections from the documentary series 10 Years With Hayao Miyazaki.
