Disney has a long tradition of well made, musical, animated movies and back in 1989 they brought all of that excellence to the big screen with a story about a teenage girl who finds forbidden love and rebels against her father's harsh rules. The Little Mermaid became a huge hit and, like so many other Disney films, it has now been given the live action treatment.
Disney, in conjunction with FlickDirect, would like to offer some individuals access to an advanced screening of the film on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 7:00pm in either Miami, Orlando or Tampa.

"The Little Mermaid" is Disney's live-action reimagining of the studio's Oscar®-winning animated musical classic. Inspired by the timeless tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen in 1837, it is the quintessential story of an outsider, and a story that speaks to everyone.
In the hands of visionary filmmaker Rob Marshall, "The Little Mermaid," is an intimate story set against an epic backdrop, including a stunningly beautiful, photorealistic world under the sea. Ambitious in scale, but grounded in reality, the big-screen musical features a brilliantly talented all-star cast, including Halle Bailey as Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Eric, Daveed Diggs as Sebas8an, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Noma Dumezweni as The Queen, Art Malik as Sir Grimsby, with Javier Bardem as King Triton and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.
"The Little Mermaid" is directed by Rob Marshall with a screenplay by David Magee. The songs feature music from Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, with new lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
