Born on March 26, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, Alan Arkin's journey in the world of acting began after his family relocated to Los Angeles during his youth. Although he had been taking acting classes since childhood, he officially embarked on his acting career after college. One pivotal moment in his life was when he joined the renowned Second City improvisational comedy troupe. Arkin held the troupe in high regard, expressing his gratitude by stating, "Second City saved my life. It literally saved my life. I have a feeling it's true for a lot of other people, too."
In recent years, Arkin graced our screens with his exceptional talent in the Netflix series "The Kominsky Method," where he starred alongside Michael Douglas.
