AMC Networks CEO Discusses Potential Strike Impact on Business, Assures Strong Content Pipeline till 2024

While on a second-quarter earnings call with Wall Street analysts, AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan said that while she hopes for an end to the strikes, the company won't feel the effects well into 2024.

"We greatly value the work of our creative partners and hope these disputes can be resolved as quickly and fairly as possible. In the short term, the reality for AMC Networks is that we have a pipeline of finished shows that will allow us to continue to serve our viewers across all of our platforms for the remainder of this year and well into 2024," said Dolan.

One of their most successful programs, "The Walking Dead" original series ended last fall after 11 seasons; however, it has spawned several spin-offs including "Fear the Walking Dead", which just finished its eighth season, "The Walking Dead: Dead City", which debuted in June, and future debuts "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" and "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live".

AMC has also produced many other successful series including critically acclaimed series like "Breaking Bad," "Better Call Saul," and "Mad Men," and is the parent company of AMC, IFC, We TV, Shudder, and Allblk.
