The entertainment industry experienced yet another tragedy when Angus Cloud, a rising star known for his role as Fezco in the hit HBO series "Euphoria," passed away on July 31. The Alameda County Coroner's office confirmed that Angus Cloud died from an "acute intoxication" resulting from a deadly combination of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and benzodiazepines. This overdose was ruled as accidental, shedding light on the devastating consequences of substance abuse.

Angus Cloud's career was on the rise. He gained fame in 2019 when he was cast as Fezco in "Euphoria," a role that endeared him to fans worldwide. The casting process for "Euphoria" itself was a fascinating story, as Cloud was discovered by casting director Jennifer Venditti while working at a restaurant in Brooklyn. His journey from a restaurant worker to a celebrated actor was a testament to his talent and the transformative power of the entertainment industry.

Beyond "Euphoria," Angus Cloud's talent extended to the silver screen and music videos. He appeared in films like Mikey Alfred's "North Hollywood" and Ethan Berger's "The Line," showcasing his versatility as an actor. Additionally, he made memorable appearances in music videos alongside artists like Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G. The family issued a statement at the time, revealing the profound impact of this loss on the young actor. They shared, "Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend." This poignant statement highlights the immense emotional burden Cloud was carrying in his final days.
