The film is one of a three part series that focuses on the story after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity by way of a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors, led by john Connor, fights against the machines that dominate the earth.
While Warner brothers will be distributing the film throughout North America, Sony pictures Worldwide will be distributing the film internationally.
