Apple TV+ has renewed the comedy series Acapulco for a fourth season. The show follows the journey of twentysomething Máximo Gallardo, played by Enrique Arrizon, as his dream of working at the hottest resort in Acapulco becomes a reality. Inspired by the film How to Be a Latin Lover, the series has captivated audiences, earning it a loyal following and a place among Apple TV+'s successful originals.

Season 3 brought both reconciliation and new beginnings for the characters. The present-day story sees older Máximo, portrayed by Eugenio Derbez, returning to Las Colinas and learning that the place is unrecognizable. However, in the 1985 storyline, we see the younger Máximo continuing his ambitious climb to the top, not letting anything stand in his way.

The ensemble cast of Acapulco features a talented lineup including Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Chord Overstreet, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco, and Carlos Corona. Season 3 also introduced guest stars Jaime Camil and Cristo Fernandez, adding to the show's dynamic mix of characters.

Eugenio Derbez, who also serves as an executive producer, expressed his excitement for the show's renewal, saying, "Having Apple order a fourth season of Acapulco is beyond thrilling. I'm incredibly grateful to our amazing partners, the talented cast and crew, and especially to the audience, whose love and support have made this journey possible. It's rare for shows centered on Latino stories to make it this far, and that makes this milestone even more meaningful."

He went on to say, "Representation matters, and continuing to share these vibrant stories on a global stage is something Ben Odell and I are deeply proud of. Thank you for helping us break barriers and celebrate our culture. We can't wait to dive back into Las Colinas for more fun, laughter, and heart with all of you!"
