A new documentary is set to offer fans an intimate look into the life of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne. Titled No Escape From Now, the Paramount+ feature-length film will delve into Osbourne's ongoing health struggles and his highly anticipated final performance with Black Sabbath.

Currently in production and expected to premiere later this year, the documentary aims to shed light on the personal and professional challenges the musician has faced in recent years. According to a press release, the film will explore the devastating setbacks he has endured since his life-changing fall in .

No Escape From Now promises to present an honest and deeply personal account of Osbourne's journey. The documentary’s official description teases an unprecedented look at the rock icon as he grapples with the impact of his declining health, including his battle with Parkinson's disease. It highlights how these struggles forced him to reflect on his identity, confront his mortality, and question whether he would ever be able to perform again. Despite these hardships, Osbourne's unyielding passion for music and his signature mischievous humor remain at the heart of his story.

BAFTA-winning filmmaker Tania Alexander directed the documentary, which began filming in during the making of Osbourne's 13th studio album, Patient Number 9. Production is set to continue through what is expected to be Osbourne's final live performance with Black Sabbath, taking place in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on .

Reflecting on the past six years, Osbourne described them as some of the most difficult times of his life. There were moments when I thought my number was up, he admitted. But making music and recording two albums kept me going. Without music, I would have gone insane.

The documentary will also feature appearances from Sharon Osbourne and their children, as well as rock icons such as Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses), Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Billy Idol, Maynard James Keenan (Tool), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Zakk Wylde, producer Andrew Watt, and musician Billy Morrison.

Sharon Osbourne emphasized the documentary’s candid approach, stating, This film provides an honest look at what Ozzy has been through in recent years. It highlights his strength and determination while facing serious health issues, including Parkinson’s. We hope his story resonates with and inspires others who may be facing similar challenges.
