Legendary actor Mark Hamill is set to receive this year's prestigious Cinema Icon Award, as announced today at CinemaCon. The event, held this week at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, will culminate in the Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony, where Hamill will be honored for his outstanding contributions to the film industry. The ceremony, hosted at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, is presented by The Coca-Cola Company and will take place later tonight.

Beyond Star Wars, he has showcased his versatility in films such as Kingsman: The Secret Service, Sony's The Machine, and the critically acclaimed indie film Brigsby Bear. His television appearances include guest roles in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, where he reprised his iconic Star Wars character.
Hamill has also built a prolific career in voice acting, bringing to life characters that have become fan favorites.
