One of the brand partners, Cuervo, is shaking up the ultimate cocktail for all the summer fun. Although the villa guests are sipping a variety of beverages as they commiserate and reveal more tidbits about their lives, a luscious libation can help loosen their lips and have them spilling all the tea.
Cuervo has created a signature cocktail for its Love Island partnership. The Hot New Bombshell Margarita is a take on a spicy margarita. While the Islanders might be longing for some spice when the lights go dark, this cocktail brings the flavor any time of day.
The Cuervo Signature “Hot New Bombshell Margarita”
- Ingredients (1 Serving)
- 1.5 oz Cuervo Tradicional Blanco Tequila
- .75 oz Orange Liqueur
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- .5 oz Agave Nectar
- 3 slices Jalapeño (reserve one for garnish)
Method:
- Coat your margarita glass rim with lime and then dip it into chili-lime salt for the perfect spicy rim.
- Add agave and 2 jalapeño slices to the bottom of a cocktail shaker and muddle.
- Add Cuervo tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and ice.
This cocktail can be customized a little depending on personal spice preferences. Removing the seeds will temper the heat. Also, less muddling in the cocktail shaker makes for a milder flavor. Also, if someone wants a super spicy flavor, add a few more jalapeno slices and give them a vigorous shake.
