FX’s Alien: Earth collaborates with Kraken Rum on a “Containment Cocktail Kit”
As FX’s Alien: Earth debuts on August 12, Kraken Rum and Cocktail Courier are shaking up some drinks that are perfect for a watching party. It is time to succumb to that entanglement and release yourself to this enticing libation.
For those unfamiliar with the FX series, it is a prequel to the 1979 Alien film. The dark and twisted world of humans, cyborgs, and other creatures has people wondering if the future is truly bleak. Immortality may not be the best goal.
In partnership with the series, Kraken Rum created a slightly sinister yet enticing cocktail kit. With the signature black rum as the primary ingredient, these beverages will instantly become legendary. They will snatch people in their grasp and never release them from their snare.
The specialty kit includes all the ingredients to make the two signature Alien: Earth inspired cocktails. - 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.75 oz Black Sesame Syrup
- ¼ tsp Black Cocoa Powder
- 1 Dash Edible Glitter
- Garnish: Dehydrated Lime Wheel
Directions:
In your shaker, combine Kraken Black Spiced Rum, lime juice, black sesame syrup, black cocoa powder, and edible glitter. Add ice and shake aggressively. Strain the shimmering black substance into your glass with crushed ice. Crown it with a wheel of dried lime, and savor the darkness… but beware: this liquid may awaken things not of this world.
Prodigy Corp Punch

- 2 oz Kraken Gold Spiced Rum
- 0.5 oz Blue Curaçao
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1.5 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 Dash Edible Glitter
- Garnish: Dehydrated Pineapple Wheel, Dusting of Glitter
Directions:
Fill a glass with ice. Pour in blue curaçao and let it settle. Add lime juice and allow it to sink through the depths. Pour in the pineapple juice infusion. Then, Release The Kraken by floating Kraken Gold Spiced Rum on top. Garnish with a dehydrated pineapple wheel and a dusting of glitter. Hold it up to the light—if it refracts unnaturally, proceed… but sip with caution.
