2025 Emmy Awards: The Studio Sets Record, Cristin Milioti and Owen Cooper Win

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles, celebrating the best achievements in television over the past year. The night belonged to Seth Rogen's new Apple TV+ comedy "The Studio", which dominated with a record-breaking 12 wins, including nine Creative Arts Emmys the weekend prior. The show surpassed the previous record held by "The Bear", cementing itself as the most awarded first season in Emmy history.

Other standout moments included Cristin Milioti's first-ever Emmy win for Best Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for her performance in HBO's "The Penguin", which earned nine awards overall. Netflix's "Adolescence" also made history, with 15-year-old Owen Cooper becoming the youngest male Emmy winner, while "The Pitt" scored five trophies, including Best Drama. The night showcased television's diverse talent, with "Severance" and "The Last of Us" also earning recognition.
