Paramount+ has announced that one of the year's most talked-about comedy reboots, The Naked Gun, has officially made its streaming debut today, September 30, exclusively in the U.S. and Canada.

The film, which has already been Certified Fresh™ on Rotten Tomatoes® and hailed by Collider as "one of the funniest movies of the decade," promises fans a nonstop ride of absurd gags, slapstick chaos, and over-the-top silliness that only a Naked Gun movie can deliver. Audiences can expect a high-octane blend of physical comedy, parody, and satire that pushes the boundaries of outrageous humor while staying true to the spirit of the beloved original films.

This time, action superstar Liam Neeson takes center stage in a comedic role unlike anything audiences have seen. Known for his tough-as-nails performances in action thrillers, Neeson gleefully flips expectations as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., a man with a very particular set of skills-though perhaps not the ones you'd expect when it comes to leading Police Squad or saving the world. Alongside him, a star-studded ensemble cast brings the mayhem to life, including Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston.

Behind the camera, the film is directed by Emmy Award-winning Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and produced by comedy powerhouse Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, Ted) and Erica Huggins. The creative team combines a sharp blend of modern parody with classic slapstick roots, ensuring that this latest chapter of The Naked Gun appeals to longtime fans and a new generation of comedy lovers.

The Naked Gun is the latest addition to Paramount+'s ever-growing comedy collection, which continues to resonate with subscribers worldwide. The new film joins the iconic original trilogy-The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear, and Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult-all starring the legendary Leslie Nielsen. When the reboot first hit theaters, the release of the classic trilogy on Paramount+ saw an impressive 84% lift in viewership during its opening month, proving that Drebin-style chaos is timeless.

Beyond The Naked Gun, Paramount+ offers a wide-ranging comedy library that includes cult-favorite franchises like Scary Movie, Jackass, and South Park, along with a robust slate of rom-coms, stand-up specials, and the infamous Comedy Central Roasts. With this lineup, Paramount+ continues to cement itself as the ultimate destination for comedy fans.

Produced by Paramount Pictures in association with Domain Entertainment and Fuzzy Door Productions, The Naked Gun is executive produced by Daniel M. Stillman, Akiva Schaffer, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins serve as producers, while the screenplay was penned by Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, and Akiva Schaffer.

Rated PG-13 for crude and sexual material, violence, bloody images, and brief partial nudity, The Naked Gun delivers its signature brand of outrageous comedy while keeping the fun accessible to a wide audience.

Availability for additional international Paramount+ markets will be announced at a later date.
