As fans descend on New York City for New York Comic Con, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is inviting Marvel fans to indulge in a heroic treat. For three days, the Marvel Ice Cream Truck will traverse the Boroughs, bringing frozen delights to everyone. This super-sized celebration is worthy of its superhero inspiration.

New York City has long served as the backdrop for some of the most iconic Marvel stories. Between the Empire State Building and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Avengers have saved the world, Spider-Man has swung through skyscrapers, and The Fantastic Four have showcased their super-powered brilliance. While fans may dream of stepping into those cinematic worlds, this event offers a sweet taste of that superhero life.

On October 8, 9, and 11, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream will drive its Marvel Ice Cream Truck around New York City. Each stop will feature special frozen desserts, including select offerings from Edy’s, Nestlé, and Häagen-Dazs. Fans will also have opportunities to win apparel and collectibles during each event.

Event Schedule:
Day 1 – Wednesday, October 8
Stop 1 (11 AM - 2 PM): Queens - Vernon Blvd & 41st
Stop 2 (3:30 PM - 5:30 PM): Brooklyn - Washington St & Water St

Day 2 – Thursday, October 9
Stop 1 (11 AM - 2 PM): Midtown - 51st St & 6th Ave
Stop 2 (3:30 PM - 5:30 PM): Javits - W 42nd St & 11th Ave

Day 3 – Saturday, October 11
Stop 1 (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Hell’s Kitchen - 53rd St & 11th Ave
Stop 2 (2 PM - 5:30 PM): Javits - W 42nd St & 11th Ave

Each stop highlights a superhero-inspired frozen dessert. The Queens location pays tribute to Spider-Man with a “hot dog-shaped” ice cream creation that’s anything but ordinary. Over in Brooklyn, Captain America inspires a tri-colored Star-Spangled Shield treat that embodies the hero’s patriotic spirit.

Other creative offerings include the Cosmic Quartet — a four-color mix of Nestlé Dibs nodding to the Fantastic Four — and Not Guilty Pleasure, a chili-chocolate Häagen-Dazs Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bar inspired by Daredevil. The latter delivers a perfectly balanced kick of heat and sweetness for a truly bold bite.

From Spider-Man’s Queens roots to Captain America’s Brooklyn pride, each dessert captures the essence of Marvel’s heroes — fun, colorful, and larger than life.

While every dessert is delicious, they all share one thing: visual appeal. These camera-ready creations ensure that fans will “feed the camera” before taking their first bite. In today’s food culture, the art of presentation is as vital as flavor.

For those outside New York, fans can still bring Marvel magic home. Stream your favorite Marvel stories on Disney+ and enjoy a scoop of your favorite Dreyer’s ice cream. With a little imagination, every freezer can become a superhero’s hideout.
