Miley Cyrus lends her powerhouse vocals to James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash with the new original song “Dream as One.”
GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Miley Cyrus is heading to Pandora—not the streaming service, but the lush alien world of James Cameron’s Avatar franchise. Cyrus has recorded a brand-new original song titled “Dream as One” for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third installment in Cameron’s record-shattering sci-fi saga.
Written and performed by Cyrus alongside Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson, and Simon Franglen, the track will play over the film’s end credits and appear prominently on the official Avatar: Fire and Ash Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The film opens in theaters on , exclusively in IMAX 3D, Dolby Cinema 3D, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, 4DX, and ScreenX formats worldwide.
“Dream as One” will release as a single on under Columbia/Sony Records, with the full soundtrack debuting on . The film’s score is composed by Simon Franglen, who earned a GRAMMY® for producing “My Heart Will Go On” from Cameron’s Titanic — one of the most iconic cinematic ballads of all time.
Franglen’s return to Pandora continues his work from Avatar: The Way of Water, merging his orchestral storytelling with Cyrus’s bold pop sensibilities. The collaboration is expected to deliver a powerful emotional blend — fusing sweeping symphonics, ethereal choral arrangements, and the heartfelt rawness that has defined Cyrus’s recent work.
In Avatar: Fire and Ash, audiences will reunite with Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) as they navigate new challenges threatening their family and the balance of Pandora’s ecosystem. Written by James Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver — based on a story by Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno — the film promises to deepen the emotional core of the saga.
The ensemble cast includes returning stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, David Thewlis, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet, alongside newcomers Oona Chaplin, Giovanni Ribisi, and the next generation of Na’vi actors — Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, and Duane Evans Jr.
Continuing Cameron’s groundbreaking tradition, Avatar: Fire and Ash is expected to push the limits of cinematic technology and emotional storytelling. With Miley Cyrus’s soaring vocals anchoring the end credits, the song “Dream as One” is poised to become both a pop anthem and a spiritual continuation of Pandora’s legacy — one that celebrates unity, resilience, and the beauty of connection across worlds.
