Amazon MGM Studios is inviting audiences to an exclusive South Florida advance screening of MERV, a warm and funny new story about family, second chances, and the dog who refuses to give up on the people he loves. MERV follows Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox), ex-partners navigating the world’s most uncomfortable co-parenting arrangement after their beloved dog loses his spark. Hoping to help him rediscover his joy, Russ takes Merv on a rejuvenating trip to Florida—only for Anna to unexpectedly arrive. As Merv slowly comes back to life, the journey reveals that repairing a dog’s broken heart may inspire a few human breakthroughs along the way.
