Timothée Chalamet, Sinners, and One Battle After Another Lead a Night of Big Wins Across Film and Television
The 2026 Golden Globe Awards blended heartfelt moments with major wins, highlighted by Timothée Chalamet’s emotional acceptance of his first Globe for Marty Supreme, which he dedicated to his parents and girlfriend Kylie Jenner, and Jean Smart’s call for kindness while accepting another award for Hacks. Although Marty Supreme earned only Chalamet’s victory, One Battle After Another entered the night as a frontrunner and lived up to expectations, winning four awards from nine nominations, including Best Comedy or Musical and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson. Leonardo DiCaprio was among the notable nominees who lost out to Chalamet in a competitive Best Actor race.
Broadcast live January 11 on CBS and Paramount+ from Beverly Hills with Nikki Glaser returning as host, the ceremony also celebrated a wide range of film and television standouts. Hamnet, Sinners, KPop Demon Hunters, and The Secret Agent each earned two film awards. On the television side, Netflix’s Adolescence dominated with four wins, while HBO’s The Pitt and Seth Rogen’s The Studio each collected two Globes.
