FlickDirect, in partnership with Cineverse, is giving horror fans the chance to win a free Apple TV digital code to watch The Morrigan, a new supernatural horror film inspired by ancient Gaelic mythology.

Arriving on Digital and Video on Demand on February 3, The Morrigan follows an archaeologist specializing in Celtic lore who travels to a remote region of Ireland with her teenage daughter. What begins as a scholarly expedition quickly turns into a nightmare when a long-sealed tomb is opened, unleashing a vengeful Pagan War Goddess determined to reclaim her power.

Rooted in folklore and atmospheric dread, the film blends mythological horror with emotional stakes, exploring the bond between mother and daughter as they struggle to survive forces far older — and far more ruthless — than themselves.

The Morrigan stars Saffron Burrows, Toby Stephens, and James Cosmo, and is directed by Colum Eastwood. The film made its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh and has screened internationally at festivals including Tallinn Black Nights and Tromsø International Film Festival before securing North American distribution through Cineverse.
