A new Monday presentation spotlights key theatrical distributors and underscores the global commitment to the big screen.

CinemaCon is expanding its 2026 program with the introduction of a new presentation block focused on theatrical distribution and upcoming release slates.

For the first time, the convention will host a Monday afternoon showcase inside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Branded the “CinemaCon® Film Showcase,” the April 13 event will feature Angel, Row K Entertainment, and STUDIOCANAL, each previewing titles for exhibitors from around the world.

“As a global industry that depends on a diverse pipeline of movies from a wide array of distribution partners, we are incredibly excited to welcome Angel, Row K Entertainment, and STUDIOCANAL to be part of this important new program on Monday afternoon,” said Michael O’Leary, President and CEO of Cinema United. “Movie theatres in cities and towns of all sizes rely on these films year-round. They are essential to our business, and this showcase recognizes the role they play in bringing audiences back to cinemas.”

For STUDIOCANAL, the inaugural showcase offers a prominent platform to reaffirm its commitment to theatrical storytelling. Anna Marsh, CEO of STUDIOCANAL and Chief Content Officer of CANAL+, called the opportunity to present in The Colosseum especially meaningful.

“We are thrilled to be part of CinemaCon 2026 and to take part in this inaugural film showcase,” Marsh said. “Presenting our slate at The Colosseum and connecting directly with the exhibition community is a significant moment for STUDIOCANAL and the Canal+ group. We remain firmly committed to films made for the big screen and appreciate the opportunity to highlight the creativity and investment behind our upcoming releases.”

Angel, the audience-driven media and technology company (NYSE: ANGX), will use the presentation to spotlight its expanding theatrical strategy. The company, known for titles including Sound of Freedom, The King of Kings, Homestead, DAVID, and Solo Mio, has built its distribution model around its two million Angel Guild members.

“Theaters thrive when audiences have options,” said Brandon Purdie, Executive Vice President and Head of Theatrical at Angel. “We are committed to delivering a bold and varied slate. CinemaCon provides an important space to stand alongside our exhibition partners and reinforce the future of theatrical moviegoing.”

Row K Entertainment, launched in 2025 as a U.S. theatrical distributor focused on wide releases and prestige filmmaker-driven projects, will present a 2026 lineup that includes Dead Man’s Wire, directed by Gus Van Sant and starring Bill Skarsgård, Dacre Montgomery, Cary Elwes, Myha’la, Colman Domingo, and Al Pacino; Poetic License, the directorial debut of Maude Apatow starring Leslie Mann, Cooper Hoffman, and Andrew Barth Feldman; Cliffhanger, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Pierce Brosnan and Lily James; and Charlie Harper, starring Nick Robinson and Emilia Jones.

“CinemaCon remains a powerful reminder that the theatrical experience brings audiences together in a way no other platform can,” said Row K Co-Chairmen Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh. “Row K was founded on the belief that great films belong on the big screen, and we look forward to sharing a slate built for that communal experience.”

Hosted by Cinema United, CinemaCon runs April 13 through April 16 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The annual event draws more than 6,000 motion picture professionals from exhibition, distribution, equipment, and concessions sectors, all focused on strengthening and advancing theatrical moviegoing worldwide.
