Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of the gang return for Pixar's highly anticipated fifth adventure as toys face their biggest challenge yet: technology.
Disney and Pixar are bringing Toy Story 5 to theaters this summer, reuniting audiences with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Forky, Rex, Hamm, Slinky Dog, and many of the beloved characters that have entertained generations of moviegoers for nearly three decades. Directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton and featuring the return of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, and composer Randy Newman, the latest chapter explores what happens when traditional toys come face-to-face with modern technology.
In Toy Story 5, Bonnie becomes captivated by a new tablet device named Lilypad, forcing Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the toys to confront a world where screens increasingly compete with imagination and playtime. Pixar describes the film as "Toy meets Tech," introducing a timely new challenge for the franchise's iconic characters.
FlickDirect, a national entertainment outlet covering movies, television, streaming, and film industry news since 2006, and Allied Global Marketing are giving Florida movie fans the opportunity to attend advance screenings of Toy Story 5 before the film opens exclusively in theaters nationwide on June 19, 2026.

Alongside returning favorites, Toy Story 5 introduces several new characters, including Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee, as well as additional toys voiced by Conan O'Brien, Craig Robinson, and Bad Bunny. The film continues Pixar's exploration of friendship, loyalty, and growing up while tackling the modern reality of children spending more time with devices than traditional toys.
