Wendy’s Teams with Minions & Monsters for a Mischievous Summer Menu Full of Flavor and Fun
Wendy’s is known for fast food done right, but this summer the popular quick-service restaurant is experiencing some mischief on its menu. In collaboration with Minions & Monsters, Wendy’s Minions & Monsters Menu is both delicious and a little outrageous.
Quick service restaurants understand that strategic partnerships with anticipated summer blockbuster movies are imperative. Whether the specialty meal builds excitement for the film’s premiere or the menu continues the story after the credits roll, the partnership is mutually beneficial.
Wendy’s Minions & Monsters Menu features items for all ages. In addition to a specialty Banana Frosty Swirl, the food items include Minions & Monsters Adult Meal, Minions & Monsters Kids' Meal, and two new Coca-Cola Freestyle beverages.

The Banana Swirl Frosty will be an instant hit. Leveraging the swirl version of Wendy’s signature frozen dessert, the banana-and-vanilla combination is a modern twist on the nostalgic dreamsicle. While everyone knows that Minions love bananas, this treat is both a nod to the movie and to the banana-flavored beverage trend.
The key with this Frosty is that the banana flavor does not overpower the Vanilla Frosty. Even though the vibrant yellow can be seen across the room, there is a subtlety to the treat. It pairs well with the unctuousness of the Big Bacon Classic. Additionally, it is a smart pairing for those signature Hot and Crispy Fries.
While quick service restaurants often add kids' meals tied to movie promotions, an adult meal is smart. Minions is an all-ages brand. Including adults not only draws them into the conversation but also turns this experience into a family-inclusive meal.
The Minions & Monsters Adult Meal features: Choice of Big Bacon Classic or the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Small Hot & Crispy Fries, Small Banana Frosty Swirl, and One of four Wendy's exclusive Minions & Monsters blind box collectibles. While the food is tasty, the collectibles are a huge draw for many fans.
Lastly, the new Coca-Cola Freestyle beverages are another big selling point. Movie theaters have leveraged these partnerships with other recently released films. It is an easy way for everyone to be involved without having to skip their favorite Wendy’s food order.
The two new beverages are Pineapple Minion MischieFizz and Goomi's Glimey Lime. First, it is smart that these beverages are not banana-flavored. Both fruit-forward options pair well with banana, but they stand on their own. Even the Minions would agree that battling banana flavors can be a little too much mayhem.
The Pineapple Minion MischieFizz will appeal to Fanta lovers. Additionally, it might be fun to combine both drinks for a mischief-filled beverage. After all, the Minions are always ready to experiment with something new.
