Paramount Pictures, in conjunction with FlickDirect, is offering free advance screening passes to EBENEZER, starring Johnny Depp, in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa on November 9, four days before the film opens in theaters.

Bah, humbug! Johnny Depp is taking on Ebenezer Scrooge, and this isn't quite the Christmas Carol audiences may be expecting. Directed by Ti West, EBENEZER brings a darker approach to Charles Dickens' familiar holiday tale. FlickDirect readers in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa can see the film early at free advance screenings on Monday, November 9.

Set in Dickens' London, the film follows the miserly Scrooge as supernatural visitors force him to confront his past, examine his present, and face a future he may still have the chance to change. The ghosts are familiar, but West's approach leans into the unsettling side of a story that has always had its share of frightening moments.

West is best known for his horror films X, Pearl, and MaXXXine, making him an intriguing choice to revisit one of literature's most frequently adapted characters. Nathaniel Halpern wrote the screenplay, based on Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol.

Depp is joined by Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, Arthur Conti, Ellie Bamber, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Charlie Murphy, Tramell Tillman, and Ian McKellen. Emma Watts produces the film, with Ti West, Adam Bohling, David Reid, Stephen Deuters, Jason Forman, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary serving as executive producers.

Paramount Pictures presents EBENEZER in association with Domain Entertainment, a Wattsco and IN.2 Films production. The film opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, November 13, 2026.
