Nathan M. Rose is the founder and CEO of FlickDirect Inc., an independent entertainment news and film coverage platform serving moviegoers and industry professionals since 2006. A lifelong film enthusiast raised in South Florida, his passion for movies began at an early age with formative theatrical experiences such as Die Hard and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Before launching FlickDirect, Rose built an early digital entertainment brand with MagicalMountain.net, which became a recognized fan and travel community and officially collaborated with Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts. During that era, he hosted approved live events with Disney and co-hosted the Disney podcast MouseTunes, which won the People’s Choice Podcast Award for Best Travel Podcast in 2006.

Founded from the ground up, FlickDirect has grown under Rose’s leadership into a long-running and trusted media outlet. In addition to overseeing editorial strategy and operations, Rose personally leads the company’s technical infrastructure and development, designing and maintaining its platforms while contributing as a film historian, award-winning podcaster, and photojournalist. His hands-on approach has helped establish FlickDirect as a consistent and credible voice within the entertainment industry.

Eric English is an integral member of the FlickDirect Inc. leadership team and serves as its President. His passion for movies began at a young age, and he enjoys a wide range of genres, with a particular fondness for comedies such as The Big Lebowski and In Bruges.

In 2006, Mr. English co-founded FlickDirect alongside Nathan M. Rose with the goal of improving how audiences access studio information online. Since then, he has played a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative solutions across the entertainment industry, with a particular focus on overseeing all mobile app development for the company.

One of FlickDirect’s most notable accomplishments under Mr. English’s leadership is the FlickDirect Movie Apps, which provide comprehensive movie information, streaming availability, theatrical discounts, and countdowns to upcoming releases. The apps have been recognized as among the “best movie apps for iPhone” by TechShout and featured in GQ Magazine as life-enhancing apps. Additionally, actor Marlon Waynes gave the app a personal endorsement.

Mr. English earned his degree in Computer Science and Digital Arts from Stetson University, where he worked extensively in 3D modeling. His technical expertise and creative insight continue to be valuable assets to FlickDirect. He remains endlessly fascinated by what can be achieved on the big screen and is excited about the future of film.

Maureen Buccellato serves as Editor-in-Chief of FlickDirect.com and is the Director of Administration at FlickDirect, Inc.

She also writes and edits content regularly and maintains ongoing communication with her contacts throughout the film industry to bring the latest news and updates to FlickDirect readers.
