The Huntsman: Winter's War
The real problem with Huntsman: Winter’s War is the plot.  It’s boring and unnecessary.  I think the filmmakers are banking on the hype created by the previous off-camera scandal to put bodies in the theater.

Criminial
Criminal is a very nondescript title for a somewhat interesting film, and that is only the first of a few of the problems plaguing Director Ariel Vromen’s (The Iceman) newest release.

The real tragedy of The Boss is that, for a comedy, it isn’t remotely funny.

Point Break
From the beautiful snow covered mountains to the magnificent waters of the Angel Falls in Brazil, every destination is more breathtaking than the next.  At least Point Break is visually stunning if nothing else.

The Americans: Season 3
The entire cast is excellent as they portray a very real time in American history.  Kerri Russell is certainly the stand out of the show.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2
Part of what makes My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 so much fun is the cast.  From Vardalos to Corbett and Constantine, Kazan, and every one in between, the comedic timing is spot on and serious delivery of such obviously hilarious dialogue is terrific.

Allegiant
Allegiant is beginning to suffer the same fate as another recent book trilogy turned movie series, in that it has lost some of the original appeal and has gotten boring.

Victor Frankenstein
With a terrific cast and a unique perspective on the story, Victor Frankenstein had so much potential.  Sadly, it simply falls flat.
