In the wake of the tragedy in Colorado, Warner Bros. has decided to delay the release of their upcoming film, "Gangster Squad".  

The extra time will be used to reshoot a scene in the film that ends with a gunfight at Grauman's Chinese Theater.  Since the scene is important to the film, it needs to be redone instead of simply edited.

The film was originally slated for September 7th release, but will now be shown beginning January 11.
