Tarantino Puts Disney on Blast Over Star Wars Release
Quentin Tarantino was on the Howard Stern show this morning to promote his upcoming film, The Hateful Eight, commented on some issues he is currently having with Disney and their upcoming release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

According to Tarantino, Disney is forcing ArcLight Cinemas to push his 70mm presentation of the film in order to show The Force Awakens.  He said that he was to begin the special release on December 25, but that now Disney decided they will be doing extended play through the holidays, so he may be shoved aside at LA's famous Cinemarama Dome. He says that Disney told ArcLight they would pull the film from all of their locations if they did not comply.

Tarantino said, "It was real bad news and it fucking pissed me off. They are going out of their way to fuck me."

He added, "I made The Hateful Eight for the Dome…This is the first time seeing it at the Dome for me too, and it was like I hadn't even seen it before, not like this."

He also wanted to make it clear that his beef lies solely with Disney, and not director JJ Abrams.

No comment has been made from Disney about the matter.
