Google Play Makes Way for 4K
Five years ago, Google Play first made movies available on Android devices and it was limited. Fast forward five years to today, and Google Play is the digital retailer most available across the world. Support for watching on iOS devices, Roku, Chromecast and many Smart TV's also exists.

Google is staying in touch with what the consumers want by introducing 4K Ultra HD resolution using VP. Starting today, you can watch over 125 movies in the US and Canada through Chromecast Ultra, Sony Bravia, and Xiaomi Mi Box 3.

Never seen a 4K movie before? Google has a special offer for anyone who buys their new Chromecast 4K Ultra - order a 4K movie on your new device and Google give you the movie free!

Google has been working hard to make sure that they provide the newest technology to their users. In October, Google launched Google Play Movies & TV together with the Daydream VR platform to further enhance your Google Play library viewing experience. Google Play Movies & TV app is also available on 2016 model Samsung Smart TV's either through your library- or use the remote to browse their selection of new release movies and next-day TV shows.
