Elton John and Andrew Llyod Webber Team Up for Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat
It was announced today that Elton John, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Tim Rice will all be teaming up for a feature animated version of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The announcement was made at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The project will be released under the STX Family banner.

The original Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was released in the 1960s and has around in many forms since. The story follows Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his siblings. He eventually becomes known and liked by the Pharaoh and eventually becomes reunited with his family.

The film will be produced by Elton John's Rocket Pictures in association with Really Useful Group. 

Tim Rice and Elton John paired up for Disney's "The Lion King" and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Can You Feel The Love Tonight".

Aside from "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor", STX announced that they will be doing and Ugly Dolls film writer-director Robert Rodriguez and an untitled Eddie Murphy-voiced one about Bo the Bull.
