Miami Vice Series Reboot in the Works for NBC
Vin Diesel's production company, One Race Television, is developing a reboot of the classic 1980s TV show Miami Vice. The series is being developed for NBC.

Miami Vice starred Don Johnson as James "Sonny" Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Ricardo Tubbs as Miami narcotics detectives. The series ran from 1984-1990.  Also starring in the show was Edward James Olmos, Saundra Santiago, and Michael Talbott.

The Miami Vice franchise also produced a film in 2006, starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.

The script for the reboot will be written by Peter Macmanus, who will also most likely be an executive producer alongside Chris Morgan, and Vin Diesel.
