Donnie Yen, who recently starred in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", has been cast Disney's live-action adaptation of "Mulan." Yen will star opposite Liu Yifei.

The original film was animated and featured the voices of  Ming-Na Wen, Eddie Murphy, Miguel Ferrer, and BD Wong.

Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver will be reworking the original script by Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin. 

The film will be directed by Niki Caro with Chris Bender, Jason Reed, and Jake Weiner producing.
