One wonders what exactly Deadpool could do that would be deemed "too far" but apparently, killing a baby was where the line was drawn.
In the scene, we see Deadpool, who has traveled back in time, appears in a hospital in the newborn area, looking over a crib with a baby in it, with the name A. Hitler. After another baby nearby begins to cry, Deadpool says, "Shut up, Ira, you'll thank me someday!" The scene then changes to be from the perspective of the baby as he was being strangled to death. Apparently, test audiences found this to be more than awkward to watch, and so it was cut.
Deadpool 2 has already taken in over $18.6 million in earnings as of last night.
