Jordan Peele's "Us" to Open SXSW Film Festival
"Us", Jordan Peele's latest horror/thriller, will be opening up the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 8.

Peele wrote the script and produced the film alongside Sean McKittrick, Jason Blum, and Ian Cooper.

The film stars Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Anna Diop. It tells the story of a family who finds themselves confronted by doppelgängers.

Janet Pierson, director of film for the festival, said, "We are crazy excited to world premiere the most anticipated film of 2019 from the creative powerhouse that brought us ‘Get Out'. We honestly couldn't imagine a more perfect film to kick off the 2019 SXSW Film Festival."

The South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) is based in Texas and will run until March 18.
