The Jim Henson Co. series is a prequel to the storyline that took place in the 1982 film, "The Dark Crystal". Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Nathalie Emmanuel have lent their voices to the series as three Gelfling heroes who set out on a journey to save their world from the power of Skeksis.
Other stars lending their voices as Gelflings in the series include Caitriona Balfe, Helena Bonham Carter, Harris Dickinson, Natalie Dormer, Eddie Izzard, Theo James, Toby Jones, Shazad Latif, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mark Strong, and Alicia Vikander. Harvey Fierstein, Mark Hamill, Ralph Ineson, Jason Isaacs, Keegan-Michael Key, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Simon Pegg, and Andy Samberg will voice the Skeksis and Mystics.
