Syfy Cancels Krypton and Series Spin-Off
Syfy has canceled "Krypton" after 2 seasons. The series just aired its Season 2 finale on August 14. The news also means that a planned spin-off called "Lobo" will also be called off.

The series is based on the "Superman" universe and was popular in its first season but ratings took a dip in Season 2. The producer for the show is looking to take it elsewhere, and with Syfy's "The Expanse" finding another home after cancellation, it could very well happen.

"Krypton" took place two generations before the birth of Superman and the destruction of the planet. It starred Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El, Superman's grandfather, and followed his life as a young man dealing with the fate of his planet.

Fans can still stream the show on DC Universe. Season 1 is currently live and Season 2 will be released next year.
