Queen Latifah's Equalizer Renewed for Second Season

CBS has renewed The Equalizer for a second season. The series stars Queen Latifah in the lead role of Robyn McCall, a female take of the popular "Equalizer" franchise.

"The Equalizer has proven more than equal to the task of engaging viewers and racking up wins on Sunday night. We're extremely proud to see this outstanding broadcast drama, led by Queen Latifah, punch through the competitive landscape and return for a second season," said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment.

The series also stars Chris Noth, Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Liza Lapira, and Laya DeLeon Hayes.

"The Equalizer" is the television's number one scripted drama for adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, bringing in an average of 14.6 million viewers a week.
