Cowboy Bebop Canceled After Just One Season on Netflix

Netflix has canceled its new series "Cowboy Bebop" after its first season. The series began only less than a month ago on November 19.

The series is a live-action adaptation of Shinichirō Watanabe's anime series, "Cowboy Bebop", and stars John Cho. Cho suffered an injury on set and caused a major delay in the release of the series, which was filmed in New Zealand. The cost of the production vs. the lack of popularity seems to be its downfall.

André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, Makoto Asanuma, Shin Sasaki and Masayuki Ozaki of Sunrise Inc., Tim Coddington, Tetsu Fujimura, Michael Katleman, Matthew Weinberg, and Christopher Yost all served as executive producers.
