Alien, the iconic sci-fi/horror franchise, expands with a brand-new experience as Alien: Romulus makes its digital debut on October 15 via Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Fans can also own it in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting December 3.

Directed by Fede Alvarez, Alien: Romulus takes the beloved series back to its roots, offering a heart-pounding new chapter that critics have praised as "sheer terror" (Brian Truitt, USA Today) and "utterly breathtaking" (Andrew J. Salazar, Discussing Film). The film has earned a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes™ and has soared at the box office, becoming the second highest-grossing entry in the Alien franchise worldwide.

Alien: Romulus introduces an all-new storyline, with fresh creatures and characters in a suspense-filled narrative that critics like Owen Gleiberman from Variety have described as "tense enough to grab you by the throat." Fans can also enjoy exclusive bonus content, including behind-the-scenes featurettes with Fede Alvarez and Ridley Scott, extended and alternate scenes, and more. The 4K UHD version will be released in a limited edition SteelBook® with special artwork and packaging.

Additionally, this year marks the 45th anniversary of the original 1979 Alien film. To celebrate, fans can grab a special 2-Movie Collection digital bundle featuring Alien and Alien: Romulus, available October 15 in 4K UHD, HD, and SD.

Film Synopsis: In this intense sci-fi horror thriller, Alien: Romulus returns the Alien saga to its iconic roots. A group of young colonists, scavenging a derelict space station, encounters the most fearsome and unstoppable life form in the universe. The film stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu, with Fede Alvarez directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues. Legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott, who directed the original Alien, as well as Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, serves as a producer alongside Michael Pruss and Walter Hill.
