Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have announced the return of a fan-favorite feature from the original Five Nights at Freddy's film - the limited-edition pizza boxes. This time, they're back with an all-new design inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's 2, arriving exclusively at participating theaters nationwide on Friday, December 5, 2025.
The collectible boxes, which became a cult favorite during the first film's theatrical run, will once again be distributed with fresh pizza at select locations, including AMC Theatres, Regal, Cinemark, Marcus Theatres, Emagine Entertainment and numerous regional and independent exhibitors. Each box features haunting new artwork that reflects the eerie world beyond the doors of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, setting the stage for the highly anticipated sequel.
But the celebration doesn't stop there. Alongside the return of the iconic pizza boxes, fans can also look forward to a spine-chilling collection of themed concession merchandise inspired by Freddy and his animatronic crew's sinister antics. Developed by Golden Link Inc. and Ping Solutions, the new lineup features a variety of premium, limited-edition items-each more creatively unsettling than the last.
Among the most eye-catching exclusives are two AMC Theatres items: a popcorn bucket molded after Toy Freddy's head, complete with a removable face and eerie glowing red eyes, and a 32oz Mr. Cupcake drink bottle whose wandering eyes appear to track your every move. Regal Theatres will offer a one-of-a-kind combo featuring a square tin popcorn container and 32oz collectible cups topped with 3D character lids, while Cinemark introduces a Freddy plush clutching an 85oz popcorn tin disguised as a stack of Freddy Fazbear's pizza boxes. Cineplex fans can also score their own exclusive 32oz cup design.
Other nationwide offerings include a massive 250oz popcorn bucket replicating the Freddy Fazbear's stage show, complete with LED spotlights on Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mr. Cupcake and Balloon Boy; a 130oz FazTalker popcorn tin equipped with lights, sounds, and a retro-style electronic screen; a Freddy Jack-in-the-Box popcorn container; and a 32oz Freddy's Cupcake Bonanza Arcade Game drink bottle. Released in 2023, Five Nights at Freddy's terrified audiences and dominated the box office, earning nearly $300 million worldwide to become the highest-grossing horror movie of the year. Its sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, picks up one year later-diving deeper into the twisted legend of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and the horrors that lurk within.
The film reunites returning stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio, alongside Theodus Crane and Matthew Lillard. They are joined by newcomers Freddy Carter, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Skeet Ulrich. Emma Tammi returns to direct, with original game creator Scott Cawthon penning the screenplay and serving as producer alongside Jason Blum.
Since debuting as a video game in 2014, Five Nights at Freddy's has evolved into a full-blown cultural phenomenon spanning films, books, games, and collectibles. With Five Nights at Freddy's 2, fans can look forward to another round of animatronic terror - and, of course, pizza served the Freddy Fazbear way.
