For two days, Courbevoie became an unofficial extension of the Wizarding World. Enter The Magical World 4, organized by Dream It Conventions, took place September 5 and 6, 2026, at the Centre Événementiel near Paris, bringing together an unusually broad cross-section of performers from the Harry Potter films.
The final announced lineup featured Ralph Fiennes, Rupert Grint, Matthew Lewis, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Christian Coulson, Adrian Rawlins, and Robbie Jarvis. Rather than representing a single corner of the saga, the gathering stretched across several generations of its screen history: Weasleys, Hogwarts students, fathers, memories, and two different incarnations of the wizard who would become Lord Voldemort.
The biggest rarity was Fiennes. Dream It Conventions presented the appearance as his first convention appearance in France, immediately giving the fourth edition a different scale. His presence also created a striking piece of Harry Potter symmetry alongside Christian Coulson, who portrayed the teenage Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
For fans, the convention placed two actors associated with different periods of Voldemort's screen history under the same roof. The change also illustrated the fragile logistics behind convention programming. Guest appearances remain dependent on professional schedules and personal circumstances right up to the event itself, even after photo combinations, meetings, and panels have already been announced.
The timing gave the weekend additional resonance. Dream It Conventions framed the gathering as part of the celebration of 25 years of Harry Potter screen magic, marking a quarter-century since the first film reached theaters in 2001. For American audiences, that film is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the beginning of an eight-film series that would continue for a decade.
On September 6, Dream It Conventions closed the weekend by thanking attendees for joining the reunion. Twenty-five years after the first film, Harry Potter occupies a different place in popular culture.
